Becoming a Member

Membership at St. Andrew’s is for everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and wants to commit to this church family.

How to join

1. Take the Inquirers’ Class, four Sundays at 10:15 AM.
2. Meet with two of our elders to share how you came to faith.
3. Make your membership vows publicly in Sunday worship.

The membership vows

Every PCA church asks new members the same five questions. In short, you will be asked to confess that you are a sinner who needs God’s mercy, to affirm that you trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, to promise to live as His follower by the Holy Spirit’s help, to support the church in its worship and work, and to submit to the care and oversight of its elders.

The children of members are baptized and grow up as part of the church family. When they are ready, they make their own profession of faith before the elders.
